The position provides direct support to the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor and is responsible for overseeing the general activities of the Shipping/Receiving areas including incoming/outgoing traffic, inventory control and inspection, maintenance of company vehicles and some parts delivery.
- Monitor and coordinate incoming traffic and line-out trucks for offloading and/or loading
- Unload trucks or assist our suppliers in the unloading of
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, counts items, weighs, measures, records shortages, rejects damaged
- Reviews the identifying information of Incoming shipments to verify the items against bills of lading, purchase orders, packaging slips, materials, or other
- Input received items into company ERP
- Scanning of all required traceability
- Preparation and packaging of product for
- Inspects Outgoing shipments to ensure products and documentation meet the requirements of the Job / Sales Compares the identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of Customer shipments to verify information against the Job Packet, bills of lading, orders, packaging slips or other records.
- Routes items to departments
- Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
- Completes shipping, receiving and material transactions in ERP system
- Operates forklift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area
- Receive, inspect and tag incoming production material and related documentation
- Cost effective scheduling of finished goods and packing preparation necessary and shipping documents
- Organizing the shipping/receiving areas and general yard storage areas
- Oversees and maintains company Inventory and develops reports for the department
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must have excellent organizational skills;
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a material handler, shipping or receiving technician or similar
- Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and 5-S
- Familiar with ISO, API, and ASTM certification and
- Mechanical aptitude with good organizational skills and the ability to work in a team
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office products and ERP systems

- This position will require working 50% outdoors and 50% indoors in a smoke-free office and manufacturing
- Limited travel will be required to support offsite personnel and business
- Occasional assignments may include evening or weekend
The noise level is usually moderate. Employee will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
