Energy Transfer
- Proper selection and combination of foundations, pumps, and related equipment for specific jobs.
- Knowledge of tubing hook-ups to spools and reels, hydraulic hook-ups to reels and foundations.
- Ability to identify and communicate problems with reels, equipment, and spools.
- Operate and maintain all testing equipment associated with visual and dimensional inspection (Mic's).
- Complete all report forms for quality assurance shipping and receiving as required.
- Make minor repairs to equipment, hose fittings, counters, rollers, etc.
- Proper execution of all procedures that pertain to used tubing and waste fluid.
- Proper execution of all tube cutting procedures and use of cutting torch equipment.
- Qualified/trained for forklift ground guide, crane rigging, and qualified to operate forklift up to 70,000 lbs.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, utilize safe work habits.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Mechanical problem-solving ability and troubleshooting is a must.
- Knowledge in blueprint reading and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators and various transfer gages).
- Must be competent in the use of basic hand tools and other tools such as torque wrenches, impact guns, hydraulic torque machines, and air tools.
- Must possess a basic understanding of hydraulic systems.
- Must be able to safely drive/operate a forklift and must be able to safely operate a crane.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
- Must be willing and able to work flexible shifts and changing work schedules on short notice.
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
- Factory environment with large range in temperature changes.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend/stoop, push/pull and repetitive movement up to 12 hours daily.
