Position: Senior Staff Accountant

General Description:

The Senior Staff Accountant occupies a key role within the internal accounting department, contributing to vital company financial oversight. This position is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and organizing financial information in a way to provide a clear, accurate picture of the company’s fiscal health.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Review financial statements for accuracy and legal compliance

· Managing billing processes for both AR and AP

· Prepare month-end financial reporting

· Ensuring adherence to accounting principles and company policies

· Prepare tax return reports

· Reconcile accounting related information to Protec business

· Audit account books for efficiency and accuracy

· Organize and update financial records

· Recommend ways to reduce cost and increase EBITDA

· Prepare documentation for external auditors

· Provide senior level mentorship to Accounting team

· Monitor collections activities

· Record, track and manage credits/write-offs

· Additional job duties as assigned by EVP

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or finance

· At least four years’ experience in accounting or a related field

· Strong mathematical and analytical skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop version

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

· Ability to read and analyze financial reports

· Strong understanding of US tax regulations

· Experience in the following is a plus:

· Point of Rental (POR)

· Excel

· QuickBooks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $71,053.91 - $85,570.30 per year
