We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our retail team. This role is essential in maintaining organized and well-stocked store shelves to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. Duties

- Restock shelves and displays with merchandise, ensuring products are properly organized and labeled

- Assist customers by answering questions and providing excellent customer service

- Operate equipment such as forklifts (if certified) to move heavy or bulk items safely

- Maintain cleanliness of the stocking area, including cleaning shelves and workspaces

- Perform cashiering duties when needed, including processing transactions accurately

- Conduct regular inventory checks and report low stock levels to management

- Assist with merchandising efforts to enhance product presentation and store layout

- Support maintenance tasks around the store to ensure a safe and welcoming environment

Skills

- Previous experience in retail sales, merchandising, or stocking experience required*

- Ability to operate forklifts (certification is a plus)

- Strong customer service and communication skills to assist shoppers effectively

- Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer needs

- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock efficiently and keep the store tidy

- Ability to perform cleaning duties to maintain store cleanliness

- Cashiering experience is beneficial for handling transactions smoothly

- Good maintenance skills for minor repairs and upkeep of store equipment and facilities

- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and management
