About The Position
The Red Baron Director will be responsible for business Growth/Strategy. The role will have full ownership of the profit and loss statement for the district and be responsible for AR, AP, DSO, DSOH for the district and will drive profitability monthly goals and objectives. They will guide operations to ensure growth targets are achieved and will act as owner of the district yearly budget.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of Facility to ensure organization and cleanliness and support with layout, consumable vendors, and operations process training, CapEx requests/justification for F&R equipment and identify and communicate to direct manager opportunities to optimize F&R throughput.
- Responsible for recruitment and interviewing candidates and handling retention of employee population and responsible for knowing and understanding market analysis and Rig Count & Competition.
- Lead all related district audits and manage findings to closure. Responsible for all follow-up communications with clients, as well as internal reviews.
- Responsible for implementing competency/practical exams for all initial certifications and ensures proper management of all recertification assessments and responsible for conducting/supporting field training of all F&R personnel and ensure the competency management system accurately lists each employee’s certification level and re-cert dates.
- Handle New Employee Orientations and drive various other Orientations and Trainings.
- Conduct quarterly audits of all F&R operations and vehicles and ensure electronic audit records are maintained and conduct client visits and conduct regular client visits to establish relationships and support F&R-related inquiries and problems.
- Owner of district pricing and new account opportunities. Must understand the market pricing per location and sales strategies of competitors. Ensure compliance with all Company & Regulatory HS&E & Quality and IT standards and policies.
- Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and maintain the required HS&E and SQ certifications are up to date.
- Regularly reviews/audits reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of all forms.
- Leads and supports continuous improvement projects, works with Manager to prepare for future career opportunities, coaches and mentors trainees and handles special projects as assigned.
- Education - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience - Ten (10) years of experience as a Technical Sales Manager, Product and Service Delivery Manager, Product Engineer, or Sales Engineer in the oilfield and gas industry.
- Technical Skills - The ten (10) years of experience must have included experience selling specialty oilfield and downhole tools and the technical operation of oilfield and downhole tools. Of the ten (10) years of experience in the oilfield and gas industry, five (5) years must have included management experience.
