- Verify and accept Material Test Reports (MTR) and supporting documentation including creating PO packet for maintaining these records.
- Advise, coordinate, and interact with all departments and suppliers to accomplish all objectives for acceptance or rejections of MTR’s for raw material.
- Determine and communicate necessary hold points for inspections and test to be performed on raw material for any special projects upon arrival per PO requirements.
- Perform hardness test on raw material and finished machined parts for comparison against engineering specifications and purchase order requirements for acceptance.
- Verify and approve MTR’s for machined parts and create PO packets prior to performing dimensional inspection.
- Ensure the traceability of all parts required and documentation trail are in place.
- Record and document traceable information which will be required to certify the manufacturing process, to the highest standards.
- Ensure the customer’s representing authority is escorted and has access to areas involving work activities, drawing, specifications, procedures, records, test results, and any other documentation necessary to perform reviews.
- Interpret API standards and client requirements to ensure the relevant stands are met in relation to the product
- Accept, reject, or place on hold any item or operation where conformance to drawing, specification, contract and/or purchase order is not being accomplished and render an unbiased decision to accept or reject any material or component to mitigate any business risk.
- Work with Document Control Team to complete any documentation required by customer, purchase order, or engineering specifications.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Working knowledge of manifold manufacture and design process.
- Working knowledge of industry standards API 6A, ISO, ASME, ANSI, ASTM, NACE, NORSOK, PED (theoretical and working knowledge is a must).
- Working knowledge of ITPs.
- Working knowledge of OD Mics (Outside Diameter Micrometers).
- Proficient in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings.
- Experienced with measurement of finished products and components.
- Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Excel, Work, and Outlook).
- Must be willing and able to work evening shift and overtime hours when necessary.
