Acidizing / Pumping Supervisor – West Texas (Oil & Gas / Permian Basin)

Overview

We are hiring an experienced Acidizing Supervisor to help oversee field operations in West Texas for oil & gas well stimulation services. This role focuses on acidizing treatments, production enhancement, and oilfield service supervision within the Permian Basin. The ideal candidate has strong oilfield experience at the wellhead, knowledge of acid treatment chemicals, and proven leadership in field operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day acidizing operations in the field, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of treatment jobs.

- Supervise pump crews and operators during well stimulation and acid treatments at all phases of the project.

- Set up pumping units, load acid chemicals, monitor pressures, and manage treatment execution.

- Communicate with clients, engineers, and dispatch to ensure proper job planning and delivery.

- Enforce HSE policies, participate in safety meetings, and maintain safe work environments.

- Maintain equipment, truck units, chemical tanks, and inventory (acids, corrosion inhibitors, surfactants).

- Prepare job reports, safety documentation, chemical usage logs, and field paperwork.

- Train and mentor operators in acidizing procedures and oilfield safety.

Requirements

- 5+ years’ experience in oilfield stimulation, acidizing services, or pressure pumping.

- Prior experience as a supervisor or lead operator in oil and gas field operations.

- Strong knowledge of acidizing chemicals, pumping equipment, and well stimulation processes.

- Current driver’s license (CDL preferred).

- Familiarity with Permian Basin operations and specialty production enhancement treatments a plus.

- Strong communication, leadership, and field troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work long shifts, overtime, and schedules in West Texas. Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb up and down from field units/trailers
