PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Work with Engineering and Drafting to generate timely Bill of Materials and Routings for products

- Work with Engineering and Product Development to create and revise product BOM’s, Work Definitions (Routings), and Labor Standards to maintain accuracy

- Define and optimize the routing structure for products including the sequence of operations required for assembly, testing, and quality control.

- Monitor and perform labor and material studies and audits to ensure accurate BOM’s, Work Definitions, and Labor Standards

- Prepare status, cost analysis, and performance reports from the ERP system as required by Management

- Maintain files in an organized manner

- Wear appropriate PPE when in required areas

- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures

- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures

- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures

- Other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Thorough knowledge of product, manufacturing processes, and principals

- Excellent knowledge of production planning, quality control, and costing principals

- Experience in MRP (Manufacturing Resource Planning) preferred

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or control; talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

- Travel less than 10%

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in process workflow or formal training in Bill of Material/Routing creation preferred

- Experience in ERP systems like OMEGA or Oracle preferred
