Compensation contingent on experience and skills ranging from $85,000-$100,000
Curtis Power Solutions, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for a Power Generation Superintendent in San Antonio, Texas.
- Onsite team lead for two adjacent data center sites
- Both projects will involve the following:
- Delivery and assembly of several 2.8 MW 480 V Diesel generators
- Factory authorized start up
- Site specific 8-hour load bank testing
- Participation in local inspections
- L3 through L5 Commissioning
- Daily oversight of generator start-up technician team, associated sub-vendors and Curtis Power Solutions furnished equipment
- Make informed and timely decisions for day-to-day problem resolution
- Enforce team and site safety initiatives
- Participate in onsite contractor meetings
- Escalate high priority issues to upper management
- Ensure contract drawings match the final installed product
- Lead troubleshooting efforts utilizing CPS and vendor resources
- Serve as the main onsite point of contact for scope specific deliveries, vendor personnel, etc.
- Responsible for completion and maintenance of the following documentation:
- Daily team recap
- Generator and site-specific punch lists
- Scope gap tracker
- As built equipment modification log
- Warranty claims
- Official RFIs
- Responsible for the site team executing the following documentation:
- Daily report and time log
- Equipment receipt and damage reports
- Factory specific start up forms
- Site specific commissioning reports
- Load bank test reports
- As built controller files
- Preferred standby diesel power generation experience
- 2+ years construction experience (project management or team leadership)- Preferred electrical trade specific experience
- High school diploma
- Personal vehicle fit for construction site
