Formal Job Title: West Texas Account Manager
The West Texas Account Managerconducts sales in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers and related fabrication industry. In this role, the applicant is responsible for offering gas measurement equipment that includes gas chromatographs, contaminant analyzers, ultrasonic meters, gas sampling equipment and other related equipment. In addition, this role will be responsible for promoting and selling integrations solutions and field services as part of their product portfolio. Applicant must have experience in working with or selling at least one of the following: Gas Chromatographs, Contaminant Analyzers, Ultrasonic Meters, or Gas Sampling equipment.
Territory: West Texas, Southeast New Mexico, North and East Texas, South Plains
· Actively and aggressively seek new customers to build a network of sources, new sales leads, and new customers.
· Facilitate product training, development, and support for current and potential customers.
· Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; effective and timely resolution of any issues that may arise post-sale.
· Maintain consistent and regular communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements.
· Provide regular territory sales forecasts to management team.
· Well-developed phone presence and high comfort level in initiating conversations.
· Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with new and repeat customers.
· Demonstrates entrepreneurial, honesty, integrity, and self-motivated characteristics.
· Ability to share knowledge and train others.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to meet travel schedule. Travel may include nights, weekends and holidays depending on customer needs.
· Must be self-motivated and capable of working autonomously.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; OR five (5) years of related work experience.
· Three - five (3-5) years’ experience working with measurement equipment in the natural gas industry.
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or in a vehicle.
· Prolonged periods of working on a computer.
A typical office environment with minimal exposure to excessive noise or adverse environmental issues. May have occasional outdoor exposure to heat, cold, and environmental elements.
