The Operations Financial Analyst will support the Operations Finance and Optimization team by transforming financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. This position assists with KPI stewardship, reporting and data automation while collaborating with leadership and digital teams. The analyst will help maintain data integrity, build dashboards, and support financial and operational performance analysis using various tools and platforms.
- Develop and automate operations focused Power BI reports that generate timely and actionable value.
- Support operational needs through variance and performance analysis.
- Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and data visualizations.
- Write DAX measures, SQL queries, and support analytics through code and automation.
- Partner with Digital team on ETL, data quality, and architecture improvements.
- Respond to ad-hoc data requests from leadership.
- Execute regressions, forecasting, and trend analysis to support strategy.
- Maintain data confidentiality and integrity in all analysis and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills, including formulas and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using AI tools to enhance efficiency.
- Ability to interpret and clearly communicate complex data.
- Upstream chemicals background preferred
- Internship or project-based experience in financial analysis, preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP tools (NetSuite, Tableau) preferred.
- Basic proficiency in SQL, preferred.
- Must complete and pass all required pre-employment screenings.
