Description

J&S Inspections Company is hiring a full-time materials specialist.

Job Duties

- Checks accuracy of requested material.

- Docks material and resolve any inventory issues

- Handles email requests and incoming calls from distribution materials center

- Maintains professional and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Provides subject matter expertise, recommendations, and field support for Oncor

- Receives and docks material for active construction projects

- Monitor material returns and credits

- Supports emergency call out for storm

- Maintains knowledge of various materials, manufacturers, and product applications

- Tracking inventory levels, scheduling deliveries, and monitoring stock levels

- Collaborate with suppliers for a timely delivery of material

- Aids in the transport of material for Oncor crews

Requirements

2+ years of experience in material coordination. Experience in transmission, substation or distribution line work is preferred

PPE is always required

Knowledge of both transmission and distribution materials

Capable of preparing necessary reports.

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite software.

Knowledge of Oncor Safety, Construction and Design Standards is preferred.

Strong communication skills

Must pass a background check and driving record verification.

Maximo experience is preferred
