JackRabbit Manufacturing is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Material Handler / Forklift Operator / Trailer Loader to support structural steel fabrication operations. This role is responsible for loading and unloading trailers, receiving and staging steel, and safely moving materials throughout the yard and shop to keep production running efficiently.

This is a hands-on position working outdoors and in the shop, requiring strong equipment skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate forklifts and telehandlers to move raw steel and finished products

- Load and unload flatbed and enclosed trailers, often in tight spaces

- Secure materials for transport to prevent shifting or damage

- Receive inbound deliveries and verify against bills of lading and purchase orders

- Count, sort, label, and stage materials for fabrication jobs

- Stage materials based on drawings, job packets, and cut lists

- Maintain a clean, organized yard and staging areas

- Communicate daily with fabrication, production, and project teams

Qualifications

Required

- Forklift experience (certification preferred, not required)

- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

- Reliable transportation to Bryan, TX

- Support general yard and production tasks as needed

Preferred

- Trailer or truck loading experience

- Telehandler (SkyTrak or similar) experience

- Steel fabrication, construction, or industrial experience
