Maintenance (Equipment Cleaner)

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for ensuring all industrial equipment is cleaned and in good working order.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Willing to reliably fulfil the designated work schedule inclusive of overtime

· Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

· Stable work history, preferably in an industrial environment

· Reliable transportation

· Committed to working safely at all times including a commitment to the policies and procedures of the operation

· Positive attitude; good team player

· Can work independently with minimal supervision

· Forklift experience (will be trained on company machines)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· On a daily basis, will clean and service forklifts, company vehicles, equipment and component parts (oil change, check all fluids)

· Performs duties in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with all applicable rules and safety procedures

· Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed

· Any other duties as requested by respective supervisor and/or manager

· Operate pressure washer machine to clean equipment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

· Must be able to lift and stack objects 15 to 20 lbs.

· Work involves long periods of standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching; may also include climbing ladders and staircases

· Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions – heat, cold, rain

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
