Job Overview

The Machinist IV plays a crucial role in supporting production by operating machinery to fabricate various one-off parts and tooling requirements. They ensure adherence to safety protocols while assisting the Service team in their operations.

Responsibilities

- Machine parts to specifications using Manual machine tools like drills, lathes, and milling machines.

Required Qualifications:

- High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution required.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manual machining, preferably in oil & gas, power, heavy equipment, or automation & controls.

- Advanced knowledge of precision measuring tools such as dial and Vernier calipers, ID MICS, depth mics, ball mics, etc.

- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and perform physical labor involving standing, bending, or kneeling.

- Adaptability to evolving work requirements in a team environment.

- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

- Knowledge of oilfield assemblies and parts.

- Ability to read and understand instructions, perform quality control, and adhere to safety guidelines.

- Effective verbal and written communication skills & Basic math and computer skills.

- Capability to read, evaluate, and respond to product specifications and drawings.

- Comfortable with various types of metal cutting machinery, demonstrating mechanical aptitude.
