Amtex Energy, Inc. is seeking an experienced Land Analyst in Fort Worth, TX. Amtex Energy, Inc. is an oil & gas operator founded in 1987. It is a privately owned company and its wholly owned subsidiaries engage in various business holdings and investments which include oil and natural gas exploration, drilling, and production, and commercial and residential real estate development.
Reporting to the Senior Landman, the Land Analyst will assist with ongoing operations, strategies, and organization in the Land Department. Expect to perform various functions of a land department.

- Maintain and update land, lease, title, and ownership records in internal systems.
- Calculate and ensure accuracy of working and net revenue interests and division of interest data.
- Review and interpret leases, deeds, assignments, probate documents, pooling orders, and title opinions to confirm ownership and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare, audit, and process division orders, transfer orders, and ownership changes.
- Serve as an owner-facing contact for inquiries related to ownership, including division orders, payments, address changes, transfers, estates, and related documentation.
- Perform title curative under direction of land manager or attorney, obtaining required documentation to clear title defects.
- Support drilling and pooling processes by verifying ownership, preparing related documentation, coordinating regulatory data, and confirming title status.
- Assist with agreements, assignments, rights-of-way, and internal paperwork tied to asset operations.
- Track lease obligations, rentals, expirations, and other critical dates.
- Prepare maps and plats as needed.
- Generate routine land reports, spreadsheets, decks, and tracking tools for management, accounting, engineering, and operations.
- Scan, index, organize, and maintain electronic and hard-copy files; ensure complete and compliant document retention.
- Assist with management of Company real estate holdings, including county appraisal district matters, contracts/agreements, and farm/ranch lease administration.
- Support special projects, regulatory filings, and cross-department efforts as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience with PakEnergy preferred
- Highly organized and sharp attention to detail
- Display professionalism and a strong work ethic
- Strong understanding of in-house oil & gas land operations
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), Adobe Acrobat, etc.
- Work in-office Monday-Friday
- Have the ability to travel, if needed

- Travel time for this position is anticipated to be no more than 20% per year, subject to unforeseen circumstances
- You will office primarily out of the Fort Worth office
- Able to travel to Midland as needed
- Able to travel Permian Basin courthouses as needed
