What We Are Looking For

GVEC is looking to hire you for the position of Internet Services Tech I to deliver the unexpected with a willingness to continuously develop yourself, your department and our organization. As an Internet Services Tech I, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting wireless and fiber systems at commercial and residential establishments

Your Pay

The minimum starting pay for this role is $19.00/hr plus bonuses that are tied to a multitude of organizational benchmarks set forth annually. Pay will be determined by skills, qualifications and experience.

How You’ll Help

- Installation of wireless and fiber services

- Troubleshooting service for wireless and fiber customers

- Perform maintenance as scheduled

Experience/Skills You’ll Need

- Applicants must be able to pass a Criminal History Background Check, drug and alcohol screen and be willing to work flexible hours

- Position requires candidates to have a high school diploma

- Position requires excellent customer service skills

Preferred Experience/Skills

- Knowledge of basic construction is preferred

- Experience with installation of satellite, cable television service, or experience with personal computers preferred
