Energy Transfer is a master limited partnership that owns and operates one of the largest and most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States. In total, the Company owns and operates approximately 120,000 miles of natural gas, crude oil, refined products, and natural gas liquids pipelines, terminals, and acquisition and marketing assets which are used to facilitate the purchase and sale of crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, and refined products.
- The main objective is to become familiar with the petrochemical business in the gulf coast, including knowledge of the pipeline distribution systems, storage assets, producers, consumers and competitors in the space. You will also gain experience in the Commercial, Marketing and Trading, Construction, Operation and Business Development areas throughout the US Gulf Coast, including export projects and opportunities.
- Develop relationships with scheduling, field operations and engineering on project development and asset optimization efforts.
- Assist with project evaluation, including developing economic cases for project approval.
- Develop internal and external relationships, ascertain customer requirements, resolve operating problems, commercial disputes and increase revenue.
- Prepare presentations and proposals for customer meetings and opportunities.
- Evaluate trading opportunities and associated risks to maximize value for storage and pipeline assets.
- Review new customers to form strategic partnerships and business alliances.
- Analyze statistics on facility usage and revenue generation to ensure optimal usage of terminal, gathering, and pipeline assets.
- Develop & maintain a thorough competitor analysis.
- Currently enrolled in college majoring in Business or Engineering
- Strong computer and advanced Excel skills preferred
- Must possess a strong willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
- Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
- Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization
