The Human Resource Business Partner Sr. is a primary HR point-of-contact for our employees and managers. This role should build collaborative and positive relationships with our managers and employees while developing a deep understanding of our mission, vision, structure, challenges and opportunities. The ability to operate as a fully contributing member of the assigned business/asset leadership team as a strategist, consultant, teammate and partner are keys to success!

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Identifies and anticipates our HR needs; prioritizes and communicates them to business leadership and the Centers of Expertise (COEs) for solution development
- Contributes to HR strategy and plays a key role in implementation through effective partnerships with COEs and HR Operations
- Provides coaching and counsel to managers regarding performance management and assessment, employee development, conflict resolution, change management, organizational structure and leadership/management style
- Provides direct HR services to select client groups focusing on talent optimization; partners with staffing and hiring managers to select and hire top talent
- Communicates and ensures adherence to human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
- Advises managers on organization design and talent development, compensation, job duty alignment and clarity, development and succession planning, team assimilation and development, and talent/recruiting/retention strategies
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience as an HR business partner
- Preferred: Experience working with engineering and operations
- Demonstrates strong organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Demonstrates HR skills including but not limited to the areas of employee relations, compensation, training and development, staffing and workforce planning
- Ability to coach, counsel and influence all levels of management and appropriately balance management and employee needs
, Responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with business/functional groups to integrate and implement strategic HR practices and/or systems which align with the business strategy. Assumes responsibility for solutions to complex problems and overall success of projects. Requires the use of experience, judgment and innovation.
