Graphic Designer (Full-Time) – Vinyl Machine Operator

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth Area (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time Schedule: Flexible – must be available weekdays, evenings, and weekends as needed

We are a fast-growing experiential marketing and event production company specializing in custom graphics, photo booths, flower walls, branded backdrops, and interactive event experiences. We work with leading brands and private clients to deliver unforgettable activations across the U.S.

We are looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented Graphic Designer who is also skilled in operating vinyl printers/cutters and has the flexibility to work outside of traditional hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, produce, and prepare event graphics including large-format backdrops, signage, props, and branding elements.

- Operate vinyl machines (printing, cutting, and applying vinyl).

- Ensure high-quality, print-ready files with accurate dimensions.

- Collaborate with the production and events team to meet strict deadlines.

- Handle revisions and last-minute client design requests quickly and professionally.

- Assist with setup/installation of graphics when needed.

Requirements

- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign required).

- Experience with vinyl printing and cutting machines (Mimaki, Roland, or similar).

- Strong knowledge of color, layout, and large-format design principles.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

- Reliable, flexible schedule – must be available nights and weekends when projects require.

- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

- Portfolio required (large-format graphics, event design, or print/vinyl work preferred).

Design Test (Required for Application)

To be considered, please submit three test graphics along with your portfolio. These should be designed for 8ft x 8ft backdrops (high-resolution, CMYK, print-ready).

- Princess Birthday Theme – Create a child-friendly, magical princess birthday party backdrop.

- Airline Theme – Design an airline-inspired event backdrop, incorporating aviation elements.

- Dallas Stars Hockey Trading Card – Create an accurately formatted hockey trading card design for the Dallas Stars team.

- Sports-Themed Ad Backdrop – Design a bold, energetic backdrop promoting a sports-themed event.

(Submissions without these test graphics will not be considered.)
