Our pipelines transport natural gas, refined petroleum products, crude oil, condensate, CO2 and other products, and our terminals trans load and store liquid commodities including petroleum products, ethanol and chemicals, and bulk products, including petroleum coke, metals and ores
- This position is primarily responsible for supporting and developing EOR prospects.
- Identify and develop geologic targets leading to successful project execution of EOR projects
- Work closely with engineering and geoscience support staff
- 3 years in the oil and gas and/or pipeline industry.
- Knowledge of Permian Basin geology
- Experience in development geology
- Ability to communicate and present complex topics to broad audience
- Work closely with engineering and financial staff to develop economic projects
- Ability to work independently as well as mentoring colleagues
- Expert user of Petra geological software
- Familiarity with the application of modeling, petrophysical and geophysical work flows
- Proficient in English writing and presentation skills
- Job level will be determined based on the successful candidates skills and qualifications
- Previous work in CO2 EOR or CCUS Development
- Predominantly office environment with some travel to field operations and remote sites
- Primarily office. Working after hours, nights, weekends, holidays as needed
Preferred education, experience, certifications, competencies, skills, and abilities:
Above the minimum requirements; not required but advantageous in this position:
- MS degree in geology.
- Special projects as required
