POSITION SUMMARY

The Entry Level General Laborer is responsible for assisting basic warehouse and production tasks under direct supervision. This role is ideal for individuals with a willingness to learn and grow within the manufacturing environment. The Entry Level General Laborer will assist in various duties, focusing on efficiency and safety.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assist production departments by supporting machine operators in the production process and carrying out any tasks they assign. Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments.

- Prepare outgoing shipments by palletizing, shrink wrapping, and banding products.

- Support the organization and maintenance of inventory in the warehouse.

- Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

- Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean work environment.

- Assist with any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor or any other leader in the company.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- High School diploma or GED preferred; experience may substitute for education.

- Willingness to learn and follow directions from supervisors.

- Basic math skills for measuring and inventory management.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Good communication skills.

Physical

- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, repetitive motions and standing for extended periods

- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
