Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanic familiar with fleet vehicles and rental equipment, such as but not limited to forklifts, manlifts, generators, trailers, etc. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to diagnose and repair a variety of equipment. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various mechanical systems and equipment.

- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools, including an Ohmmeter, to ensure accurate assessments.

- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they lead to equipment failure.

- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used.

- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical technologies.

Skills

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an Ohmmeter, for troubleshooting electrical systems.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand complex machinery.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
