Last Energy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Engineering Project Manager (External) to play a pivotal role in managing relationships with external engineering firms and EPCs, facilitating successful project execution.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management skills and expertise in coordinating with external partners to deliver outstanding results while ensuring alignment with Last Energy's goals and objectives.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee external engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firms to ensure the successful execution of projects in accordance with client requirements and Last Energy's standards

- Collaborate closely with external partners to define project scopes, schedules, budgets, and implementation plans, with a strong focus on risk assessment and mitigation

- Coordinate the efforts of external resources and maintain strict adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget constraints, while fostering productive relationships with external project teams

- Continuously assess project progress and adapt project parameters, timelines, and budgets as necessary to ensure project alignment with established goals

- Efficiently allocate and monitor resources to optimize project performance and achieve project deliverables

- Regularly report project status, outcomes, and potential risks to the relevant stakeholders, and escalate issues when needed, following established project management protocols

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree required

- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in the manufacturing and energy sectors, or similar

- Proven track record of effectively collaborating and managing external partners and stakeholders

- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Suite

- Extensive experience using Gantt charts

- Asana or Smartsheet experience is a plus

- CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) and PMP (Project Management Professional) certifications are a plus

- Ability to communicate, both written and verbally, in an effective manner to the intended audience

- Ability to think critically, creatively solve problems, deal with ambiguity, and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment

- Ability to work independently

- Well-organized with meticulous attention to detail
