**Job Summary**  
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including floor care, industrial cleaning, and general maintenance tasks.

**Responsibilities**

* Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure cleanliness.
* Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of appearance.
* Carry out custodial duties in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
* Assist in facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
* Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, replenishing supplies as needed.
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
* Occasionally assist with residential painting projects as required.

**Experience**

* Previous experience in custodial or facilities maintenance roles is preferred but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus.
* Knowledge of floor care methods and products is beneficial.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
