The CFR Engine Specialist plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operation, maintenance, and development of CFR engines across global laboratory locations. This position ensures effective systems are in place to support business objectives and drive consistency through CFR standardization initiatives.

- Ensure relevant lab personnel are trained and equipped with proper engine maintenance documentation and protocols.
- Proactively identify and rectify breakdowns in lab safety, equipment, and work procedures.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools effectively for technical documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
- Drive a results-oriented culture with a focus on performance metrics and continuous improvement.
- Independently prioritize work streams to meet key performance indicators and departmental goals.
- Foster personal growth and development through ongoing learning and applied experiences.
- Serve as technical consultant to laboratory management for all CFR engine-related inquiries.
- Lead engine servicing efforts—covering routine maintenance, complex troubleshooting, and complete engine rebuilds to minimize downtime.
- Maintain a robust inventory of CFR parts to ensure timely availability for global operations.
- Provide strategic guidance and resource recommendations to regional teams for implementing CFR standardization initiatives.
- Ensure project milestones are met within budget and quality targets.
- Track and review performance using relevant KPIs and metrics to support ongoing improvements.
- Maintain consistent scheduling for laboratory visits requiring maintenance and support.
- Contribute to continual procedural improvements aligned with global CFR standardization goals.
- Ensure adherence to all administrative and company-wide policies.
- Demonstrate full compliance with Camin corporate standards.
- Strong background in mechanical and electrical work with hands-on CFR engine operation preferred.
- Demonstrated independent working ability.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% (domestic and international).
- Proven relationship-building and training skills.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and skilled in time management.
- Familiarity with ASTM test methods such as D2699, D2700, D613, and D909 is ideal.
- Support new lab engine capabilities and promote proficiency across labs by collaborating with internal business leaders.
- Cultivate effective relationships across internal teams and external stakeholders to reinforce support systems and lab excellence.
