Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat) / Shop Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Class A CDL Driver with Hazmat endorsement who is also willing to work as a Shop Technician when not driving. This is a hands‑on position for someone who is a hard worker, takes pride in their work, and is willing to do physical labor as part of a team. This role supports shop operations, equipment preparation, and field needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate Class A commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT and company safety standards

- Transport equipment and materials safely to and from job sites

- Load, unload, secure, and inspect equipment

- Clean, flip, stage, and maintain equipment in the shop

- Assist with tent setup, breakdown, and related equipment support

- Perform general shop duties including organizing, cleaning, and site readiness

- Conduct basic inspections and report maintenance or safety issues

- Support other operations and tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications

- Valid Class A CDL

- Hazmat Endorsement (required)

- Clean driving record

- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and DOT physical

- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment

- Willingness to work outdoors, in a shop environment, and in varying conditions

- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance

- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous shop or equipment handling experience

- Mechanical or technical aptitude

- Experience working around tents, safety equipment, or industrial job sites

- Forklift or equipment operation experience (a plus)

Physical & Work Requirements

- Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling

- Standing and working on feet for extended periods

- Working in heat, outdoor, and shop environments

- Must be flexible with tasks — this is not a driving‑only position
