J&L Backhoe Service, LLC
An advanced level position to accurately and efficiently perform diversified tasks relating to product assembly to include: traction motor alignments, main bearing end play verifications, back lash and gearing verifications, advanced troubleshooting procedures. Will also provide shop technical experience and techniques to other areas of the company as needed.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or trade/technical school diploma, and 5 years related mechanical experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with situations involving limited instructions or lack of direct leadership. Ability to understand detailed drawings, bills of material, schematics, and work instructions.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Word and E-Mail messaging, and an all-around general knowledge of computer operations is advantageous.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration, frequently exposed to the risk of electrical shock, exposed to wet and or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high pressure oils systems, high precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outside weather conditions, extreme cold and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
