Job Overview

We are looking for a self-starting, highly motivated administrative professional. Main character qualities include detail orientation, organization, and an individual that works well in a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Schedule all order pick-up and deliveries related to freight

- Adhere to all client shipping guidelines and standards

- Work with the operations team to coordinate loads for shipment

- Demonstrate strong working relationships with customers, carriers, and vendors

- Deliver timely communications on exceptions or unforeseen changes in shipping, as well

as shipment status

- Ensure purchasing, receiving, and accounting related documentation is routed correctly and filed accurately and neatly

- Demonstrate proactivity in coordinating freight appointments

- Ensure deadlines are met

- Identify and resolve issues within the shipping and receiving department

- Perform various additional tasks as directed by management

Proficiencies: Microsoft Office. History with an ERP system. Dynamics 365.

Excel is the most critical proficiency. Sorting, filtering, and pivot tables in a workbook. Moderate knowledge of formulas like Vlookup, SumIF, and Concatenate is expected.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree.

Work Experience: Can be new graduate but would require a background in accounting.

Target Compensation:

• Annual salary of $60,000

- Target bonus of $10,000

Bonus weighed 85% company performance and 15% safety performance
