We are a manufacturing facility that started as a blacksmith shop which moved to Canada in 1954. Third generation family owed business that creates primarily agricultural products start to finish. Primary processing, welding/fabrication, induction brazing, powder coating and final assembly.
- . Quality Engineering & New Product Introduction:
- Responsible for quality engineering in coordination with our design team on new products to ensure manufacturing readiness.
- Draft, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure repetitive manufacturing accuracy and consistency.
- Create and manage detailed quality documentation, including inspection checklists, work instructions, and control plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality controls and process changes.
- Communicate directly with vendors to establish quality standards, clarify technical specifications, and resolve defects or non-conformances in supplied materials.
- Lead engineering projects related to quality improvement, root cause analysis, and process standardization.
- Manage quality resources and testing equipment effectively to support production goals.
- Work in conjunction with Engineering and Operations to ensure 100% compliance with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Continuously enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of existing quality systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- 3-5 years experience in quality engineering, manufacturing, and process improvement within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to bridge the gap between design and production.
