- Priority will be given to qualified Athabasca residents
- Under the direction of a senior employee, Mine Utility Person duties such as:
o Work on the Rig floor of a drilling rig for the operation of tripping pipe.
o Assist the Rig Driller to assemble and disassemble the drill rig.
o Assist the Driller to reposition the drill rig.
o Other site duties and tasks as required.
- Conduct all duties required in a safe and efficient manner
- Successfully complete training in the following areas: confined space entry, fall protection, lockout, WHMIS, radiation
- Actively participate in weekly safety huddles
- Embrace and support Operational Excellence efforts and OE Culture
- Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures
- Promote and adhere to Orano Canada’s values: Customer Satisfaction, Continuous Improvement, Respect and People Development, Cohesion and Team Spirit, and Exemplarity, Integrity, Responsibility
- McClean Lake site
- 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
- Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required
- This position is physically demanding
- May be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to work rotating shifts (days and nights)
Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on Friday
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac and Wollaston.

- Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN) applicants will be given preference
- Possess Grade 12 or equivalent
- Experience working in an industrial setting is considered an asset
- Some mechanical aptitude is required to understand some equipment operation, for example, pumps, valves, filters, agitators, etc.
- Experience working on drilling rigs is considered an asset
- Experience Operating Heavy Equipment is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 or Class 5 Northern Restricted driver’s license is required
- Must be dependable and have the ability to work independently
- Must have good communication skills
