Summary

We are seeking an essential member of the drilling team, responsible for supporting the Driller in various operational tasks on the rig floor. This role demands physical endurance, a commitment to safety, and the ability to anticipate the needs of the drilling process. You will play a crucial role in maintaining equipment, managing supplies, and ensuring efficient drilling operations while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of the drilling rigs and equipment

- Handle drill pipe, slips, and other rig tools

- Perform housekeeping and maintenance of the rig and surrounding work area

- Support safe operations by following all safety protocols and procedures

- Work closely with the Driller and rig crew to ensure efficient and safe project execution

Requirements and Qualifications

- Previous drilling or oilfield experience is an asset, but not required

- Physically fit and able to work in demanding outdoor environments

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Commitment to safety and teamwork

- Eligible to work in Canada

- Have a reliable form of transportation

Training and Safety Certifications

Being in possession of the following training and safety certifications is considered an asset.

- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C

- H2S Alive Certificate

- Hoisting and Rigging

- Ground Disturbance II

- CSO / BSO / OSSA

- Wilderness Awareness

- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)

- Fire Safety

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $38.50-$39.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 – 80 per week
