Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and operational tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both manual and technical skills. This role requires an individual who is detail-oriented, capable of working independently as well as part of a team, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities

- Installs new wastewater infrastructure including pipes, valves, manholes, concrete, pumps, etc.

- Performs emergency repairs to the collection system including repairing and restoring service.

- Locates underground cable and utilities.

- Makes taps, tie-ins, and repairs broken lines.

- Excavates with backhoe and excavator.

- Backfills and compacts utility trenches.

Qualifications

- High School diploma;

- One (1) year of responsible related experience

- Equivalent education, training, and/or experience.

Licenses or Certifications:

- Valid South Carolina driver’s license
