The hourly rate ranges from 47,01 to 53,96$
The work location is at Nunavik and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 6 weeks: 3 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 3 weeks for rest.

Under the direction of the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, the Underground Service Mechanicperforms maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment in underground mining operations. Responsibilities include:
- Respond to service calls from operations.
- Diagnose issues on the construction site.
- Perform repairs on the construction site.
- Determine the cause and nature of failures to specify the methods and means of repairs to be done.
- Assist colleagues on the site with various tasks as needed;
- Drive and maintain service vehicles.
- Adhere to the company's health and safety requirements and recommendations.
- Perform other related tasks related to the position.
- Possess a professional diploma (DEP) in construction equipment mechanics or an equivalent qualification;
- Have experience on a mechanical service vehicle.
- Have a background in heavy machinery maintenance.
- Showcase proficient diagnostic abilities.
- Hold a valid driver's license for class 5 vehicles.
- Completion of FMTM mining modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7;
- Hold a valid explosives permit.
- Background in the mining industry.
- Due to frequent interactions with French-speaking team members, bilingualism (French/English) is an asset that facilitates and enhances our internal communications.
