Our Transmission and Distribution Lines team is spread out across Canada, mainly in Mont‑Saint‑Hilaire (head office), Toronto and Calgary. Our multidisciplinary team comprises specialized engineers, technicians and support staff and includes professionals from junior to expert levels. Our clients operate mainly in the heavy industry and private sectors, both in Canada and abroad.
Our diverse client base means we get to work on a variety of highly interesting projects. With the push for decarbonization in heavy industry and the increase in renewable energy projects in Canada, our team has excellent opportunities to play a part in the energy transition by supporting clients in their transmission line projects. Our team of experts helps clients with all their project phases, from feasibility studies to commissioning and asset management.
With us, you’ll get the opportunity to:
- Design transmission and distribution lines
- Supervise the work of engineers, technicians and drafters and provide technical support
- Act as technical project manager to deliver projects on time, on budget and up to quality standards
- Develop line layouts
- Draft and manage engineering documents for transmission and distribution line projects (from 5 kV to 765 kV)
- Prepare and optimize PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE models
- Design support structures and foundations for transmission and distribution lines
- Select the required components: insulators, hardware, conductors and structures
- Take the lead in preparing proposals, studies, cost estimates, reports, and plans and specifications
- Help inspect existing lines and prepare inspection reports

- Bachelor’s degree in civil or electrical engineering
- At least 10 years of experience with transmission and distribution lines
- Relevant structural experience
- Technical writing skills
- Knowledge of the PLS-CADD suite
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- Asset: bilingual (English and French)
