o A highly visible supply chain role that will oversee the Supply and Inventory requirements planning process for a specific region or regions.

o Lead supply chain planning to optimize the flow of Graymont Products/Quicklime throughout the network to meet customer commitments. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure plant production aligns with sales and supply chain deliverables. Proactively educate and communicate supply chain issues and market conditions to key stakeholders, identifying gaps and recommending solutions to resolve gaps. Evaluate opportunities to continuously improve both systems and processes to foster improved data integrity and enhanced decision making. Time Frame Daily, Weekly, Monthly, up to 1 year.
o In conjunction with other regional supply planners, provide input into budget sourcing review process to account for operational and logistics considerations.
o Proactively communicate with all relevant parties to ensure the proper allocation of resources needed to meet internal and external demand. Deliver early warning signs for potential issues, conducting what if analysis and developing recommendations to prevent a stockout. Initiate root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
o Lead collaboration with accounting to optimize terminal inventory management and identify root cause failures; provide recommendations for corrective actions and improvement opportunities to increase efficiency and standardize operations.
o Develop trust and communicate value consistently with Sales, Customer Service, Operations and Finance to optimize the supply chain network, maximize profitable supply, minimize cost to deliver and overall operating costs while improving the value proposition to Graymont’s customers.
o Analyze the supply situation, identifying gaps between demand, inventory, and supply, to better align demand and supply, and recommending opportunities to mitigate supply risk and improve costs.
o Facilitate weekly S&OP consensus and inventory availability planning meetings with Operations, Sales, and Supply Chain for a specific region/s.
§ Ensure alignment and visibility to supply/demand assumptions, analysis, and decisions.
§ Coordinate supply demand visibility for weeks 1-3 by collaborating with CSR’s and Sale’s.
§ Assist with analysis, direction and coordination of short-term rail fleet planning needs based on demand/sourcing requirements with logistics team.
§ Provide directions as to terminal replenishment plans.
§ Work with stakeholders on demurrage mitigation strategies by way of supply planning process
§ Analyze and coordinate inter/intra-regional requirements with impacted stakeholders.
§ Lead contingency planning and cost to serve, identifying the optimized or next best alternative.
o Develop and implement inventory strategies based on future customer demands and supply plans as represented in the Inventory Planning graph for all terminals and plants.
o Manage, test, and implement statistical forecast models and capture, analyze, and report on current and future demand profiles and trends to compare with demand plans.
o Develop mid-to-date-term supply planning analysis and sourcing recommendations.
§ Manage (inputting transfer orders) supply & demand from weeks 4-16
o Lead, facilitate and coordinate plant shutdown sourcing and logistics support activities; identification, development and communication of shutdown calendar, potential shutdown sourcing risks and recommendations to avoid.
o Ensure interregional alignment of processes, tools, communications, methodology and data elements.
§ Ensure wholistic view of the network is taken to ensure optimization of Graymont supply and assets.
§ Assist in analysis and coordination of inter/intra-regional requirements with impacted stakeholders and Finance.
o Develop, measure, and communicate key performance indicators to track and evaluate demand plans, supply plans, and the timely and accurate input of critical operational data through the ODE process.
o Provide as needed assistance to CSR and Logistics teams as required and as directed by the Logistics Manager, including processing of POs
o Provide planning support as required for other regions.
o Experience: Minimum of 5-8+ years’ experience within a manufacturing environment in one or more of the following fields: demand planning, inventory planning, customer service, supply chain.
o Available to travel estimated 10% of time.
o Knowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, supply chain processes and challenges.
o Knowledge of Lime or Cement industry products or the ability to quickly learn new products specific to individual manufacturing facilities.
o Ability to work in constantly changing environment by prioritizing everyday objectives, change management initiatives, and stakeholder (internal and external) supply upsets.
o Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), ERP systems, Supply and Demand Planning Software - JDE experience is beneficial.

o Communication: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Bilingualism is an asset.
