In this role, you’ll regularly assess demand and supply dynamics, manage spend with strategic sourcing plans, and lead initiatives that enhance quality, reliability, and cost efficiency. You’ll be a key partner in factory and business unit projects, ensuring seamless execution from bidding to delivery. With full accountability and approval authority, you’ll guide operations to meet the highest standards. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead sourcing activities for direct and indirect spend across local and HBU scopes.
- Drive fast-track RFQs and supplier negotiations aligned with factory needs.
- Own material pricing and terms throughout the value chain.
- Support factory processes including SEOP cycles and commodity hedging.
- Manage supplier performance evaluations and improvement initiatives.
- Lead cost-cutting and risk mitigation projects using Dynamic Evolution methodology.
- Guide and develop your team, ensuring strong talent and succession planning.
- Collaborate on technology transfer and product cost improvement projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or Supply Chain—or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years in supply chain or purchasing within industrial manufacturing. - 3+ years of people leadership experience.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills in a global matrixed setting.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
