The Mt. Pleasant Job Rotation Program (MP-JRP) position offers the opportunity to learn all facets of the Hitachi Energy Power Grid High Voltage (PGHV) business through rotating hands-on experience in project and cost management, field and floor supervision, marketing, sales, procurement, supply chain and safety over a two-year period. In this role MP-JRPs will be exposed to all aspects of the PGHV process through rotating assignments in a series of progressively more responsible positions. Mentoring and practical experience combine to develop PGHV management skills in an area of specialization. Upon program completion, MP-JRP participants may become Procurement, Marketing & Sales, Assistant Project Managers, Distribution, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Supervisor, etc.
Responsibilities
- Product Rotation (DTB/PASS or PQP/SA or GIS or Ins. Transformer) Take direction from and support the Project Manager and on assigned project tasks.
- Demand/Supply Marketing or Marketing/Sales Rotation. Take direction from and support senior team members on duties as assigned.
- General Rotation (Quality or HSE or Human Resources or Finance) - take direction from and support senior team members on duties as assigned.
- Field Service or Supply Chain Rotation. Take direction from and support senior team members on duties as assigned.

- BA/BS/MA/MS in Business Administration; Psychology; Communications; Marketing; Education; Computer Science; Finance; Economics; General Engineering or related discipline
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Ability to understand and follow directions.
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Team, Word, Outlook and Excel required.
