Machinist/programmer

Job Description:

This position is responsible for operating and programming both our CNC lathe and mill to manufacture our current rifle components and assist in brining new products online. Extensive machining and programing experience is preferred. Firearms knowledge a plus. Salary negotiable. Retired machinists, veterans and gun enthusiasts encouraged to apply!

Requirements:

- Must be 21 years of age or older.

- Must be able to legally own a firearm under federal and state law.

- Must have extensive knowledge of machining and programming.

- Machining certification and experience required.

- Hands on programming, set up and machining on 3 axis mill and multi spindle lathe.

- Ability to setup, operate and maintain tolerances on world class, state of the art CNC machines.

- Prior experience with Okuma CNC machinery is desirable.

- Problem solving skills and an ability to work as a team.

- Passionate about holding tight tolerances and quality surface finishes.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Blue print reading skills.

- Proficient in measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.

- Tooling and fixture design experience preferred.
