Actalent Engineering is seeking a qualified candidate for a Jr. Mechanical Engineering opening with a consumer product manufacturer that is located in Reading, PA. This person will be part of a rotation program that allows for the opportunity for learning and growth in the engineering field.

- This person will start on the plant floor learning the machinery and processes

- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

- Prepare technical documentation and analysis for ongoing projects

- Prepare technical documentation, drawings and reports

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality and R&D

- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities on the production floor

- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Below is a summary of requirements for qualified candidates:

- Bachelors Degree in Electro-mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude signified by mechanically related hobbies or other hands on experiences

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
