The Industrial Painter/Blaster plays a key role in surface preparation by cleaning and treating materials to ensure proper adhesion of coatings or finishes. Using specialized equipment, the Industrial Painter/Blaster ensures that surfaces meet quality and project specifications while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
What You’ll Do:
•Surface Protection: Prepare and clean metal, concrete, and other surfaces using abrasive blasting techniques to meet project specifications.
•Technical Expertise: Calibrate and operate blasting equipment efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
•Defect Detection: Inspect surfaces for irregularities and ensure proper preparation before coatings are applied.
•Tool Mastery: Maintain and troubleshoot blasting equipment to ensure peak performance.
•Teamwork on the Go: Collaborate with team members and travel for on-site blasting and surface preparation projects as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
•Experience: 1-3 years of experience in painting and abrasive blasting or surface preparation.
•Skills: Ability to interpret blueprints work order, and technical specifications; knowledge of surface preparation techniques.
•Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in operating painting and blasting equipment and tools.
•Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
•Safety Minded: Strong understating of workplace safety and proper PPE use.
•Team Player: Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
