We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team and deliver top-tier service in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems across various properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure optimal indoor climate conditions. As an HVAC Technician, you will be instrumental in enhancing building comfort, safety, and energy efficiency through your technical proficiency and proactive maintenance approach.
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Perform routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Conduct plumbing and refrigeration repairs as needed to support HVAC system functionality.
- Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all performed tasks.
- Assist with HVAC system design modifications or upgrades to improve efficiency or meet new building requirements.
- Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC system repair and maintenance.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation and property maintenance.
- Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques.
- Experience with refrigeration systems, ammonia refrigeration (HVAC/R), plumbing, and appliance repair is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge of boilers, pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems is essential.
- Ability to operate field service equipment safely and effectively in various environments.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Certifications related to HVAC/R systems, refrigeration (including ammonia), welding or boiler operation are advantageous.
