This exciting position develops and manages key government sales related accounts and is responsible for overseeing the coordinated effort to ensure customer satisfaction and review/analyze new government related sales opportunities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develops and manages new sales in the government direct and indirect sectors

- Manages all aspects of assigned accounts, including growth opportunities

- Maintains a strong working relationship with internal partners to leverage their knowledge base

- Advises customers on types of and purchase needs

- Monitors customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts

- Suggests and implements improvements to the sales administration process

- Uses tools to track and analyze sales productivity

- Represents company at various government supplier base conferences

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred, but not required

- Valve and/or other related Industrial sales experience required

- At least 10 years in government sales accepted in lieu of degree

- The work environment is primarily in the office, some travel may be required
