Electralloy, a G. O. Carlson Inc. Company is seeking two (2) highly motivated Chem Lab Technicians at our Oil City, PA facility. The chosen candidates must be proficient in all Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Excel and spreadsheets. Must be able to perform basic math skills and have knowledge of all chemical symbols. Must also be motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

These candidates must be detail oriented and able to perform semi-routine lab assignments of some complexity. The chosen candidates will assist in the development and implementation of new and/or revised procedures, methods, and processes as well as analyze data and may need to prepare written reports. An understanding of the practical aspects of steel laboratory production chemistry is desirable but not required. Candidates must have high integrity and professionalism with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in similar roles, knowledge of stainless and/or nickel products and their applications. Knowledge of the Specialty Steel Industry is preferred, but not mandatory. Must be available to work all shifts, including off shifts of nights, weekends and holidays if/when needed and overtime as required.
