Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC machinery and will be responsible for producing precision parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints. The CNC Machinist will work closely with engineers and other team members to ensure that production goals are met efficiently.
Responsibilities
•Operate CNC machines including lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality components.
•Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
•Utilize bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines for quality control checks.
•Perform basic programming of CNC machines using Mazatrol or similar software.
•Conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•Use hand tools and basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments.
•Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production processes.
•Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Experience
•Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
•Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
•Familiarity with Mazatrol programming is preferred but not mandatory.
•Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and materials.
•Experience using bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines, and hand tools.
•Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tasks.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
