Asset Management Associate - Empowering Clean Energy Innovation

Work collaboratively with our development, finance and construction departments and have primary responsibility for the following:
Contract Management & Obligation Tracking for Operational Projects
- Establish a sustainable system for tracking all contract obligations in a centralized place.
- Create a scalable process for onboarding new projects and contracts into the agreed upon system.
- Ensure all contract obligations are assigned to the relevant team member(s) and that all dates are tracked and adhered to.
- Help manage certain contract obligations such as insurance requirements, diligence reporting, and project submittals to various parties.
- Ensure that all third parties and contractors are adhering to agreed upon obligations and timelines.
- Maintain compliance with various reporting standards across all operating projects on a recurring basis.
- Anticipate compliance requirements and notify relevant parties across internal and external organizations.
- Provide notice to relevant parties to the extent compliance has faltered and pursue remedy if applicable.
- Register new solar projects with utilities and other relevant agencies to ensure timely energization.
- Work with third party vendors on subscriber acquisition and management contracts, ensuring favorable terms and pricing.
- Track subscription levels across internally owned community solar projects.
- Manage and monitor customer subscriptions in the program platform.
- Generate customer contracts and obtain signatures when necessary.
- Communicate with the program administration team when necessary.
- Manage annual REC retirements and compile/submit necessary reports.
- Manage project registrations with REC registration platforms, gathering all necessary information and documents.
- Monitor current and historical project performance and flag under-production.
- Coordinate preventative and responsive maintenance on operational sites across the country.
- Archive project performance and assist with comparative analysis of forecasts vs actual performance.
- Explore opportunities to implement automation or AI to supplement
- Develop and refine workflows and processes, continuously improving operational efficiency across the business.
- Create and maintain an internal knowledge base or manual for administrative processes to support continuity and scalability.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies or gaps in current systems and suggest actionable improvements.
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination between departments to ensure smooth transitions for projects and initiatives.

- Experience: Proven track record in an asset management related role or proven ability to successfully set up new systems and procedures with a keen eye to detail in the execution of such procedures. Experience within the solar industry is a plus but not required.
- Skills: Expertise in written and verbal communication, and organization; proficiency with tools like Google Drive, Egnyte, and Smartsheet is a plus.
