The successful candidate will have primary responsibilities to complete general labour shop duties, with cross-training for 'as needed' basis Shipping/Receiving/Delivery.

Job Requirements:

- Material handling including scrap metals, solvents and lubricants.

- Proficient use of hand tools, bandsaw and belt-sanders.

- Complete general labour tasks such as painting, carpentry and/or equipment assembly when/as required.

- Load, unload, transport and/or store goods (>50-pounds on occasion) through manual materials handling, hand truck, Forklift or other equipment from trucks or other conveyances.

- Computer literate to input data for computerized pick sheets and inventory record-keeping system.

- Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods.

- Required to provide/maintain Class “G” clean driving record for occasional general delivery driving back-up.

- Demonstrated commitment to quality and strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work with other plant personnel.

- Adhere to and maintains safe work practices, including WHMIS requirements.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

This full-time vacant role requires fluency in English (read, write and speak) with 3-YEARS current work history and ROTATING SHIFT availability, preferably in a Precision Machining Shop or manufacturing environment. Forklift experience preferred.

MUST RESIDE IN PROVINCE OF ONTARIO WITH A VALID CLASS 'G' LICENCE and have reliable personal transportation (no public transportation available).

Early Shift (7am) start time with rotating shifts.
