Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, you will be part of the Mine Department. You will be responsible for operating jumbo drilling equipment in underground mining operations to ensure efficient and safe drilling processes. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Completed & ongoing competence with required core modules: Staging, Drilling, Rock bolting, Blasting, Operate Scoop, extend services, Operate Utility Vehicle, Fall Arrest Training. Per the Agnico Eagle Underground Mining Classification Guideline;
- Competently perform all Mining 4 functions (Production/Development);
- Demonstrate competence in relevant underground Hardrock Common Core;
- Keep work areas clean free from hazards;
- Listen to and communicate with others, keep accurate records on zero harm 5-point card, aligning with daily tasks;
- Work with others to meet and where possible exceed daily KPI’s set by Supervisor
- All other duties as may be assigned.
- 2 years’ of experience as a Miner 4 or equivalent;
- Underground Common Core (Ontario).
- Schedule: 7/7 schedule at our Upper Beaver Gold Project in Dobie, ON.
