CH Site: Glen Eden *Must be willing/able to work at any CH designated area.
- Direct and control both vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow in our parking lots
- Greet and provide general information to guests and assist with questions or concerns as needed
- Assist with general maintenance, snow removal, and cleanup duties, as well as set-up, takedown, and operations for special events and functions
- Support in stacking, splitting, and moving firewood
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to confidently provide direction to members of the public and other CH staff (vehicle and pedestrian traffic)
- Previous experience in parking lot operations/traffic management is an asset.
- Working knowledge of ski resort operations an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude & the ability to work both as a team member and independently.
- Flexibility and the ability to assume a variety of tasks as required.
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, on varied terrain.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
- A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G2”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. Abstract completed by Conservation Halton*. - Successful candidates must provide own CSA approved safety footwear prior to first day of employment Partial reimbursement provided in accordance with the Safety Workwear policy.*- CH parks are not accessible by public transit; candidates should ensure they have reliable transportation.
- Starting at $17.55 per hour
- Part time hours available on Weekends and Holidays; hours may vary depending on availability.
- This position’s expected start date is September 22, 2025
