YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Supervisor, you will be part of the Mill Maintenance Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

- Remain consistent with the Maintenance Department Classification Guideline.

- Install new or overhauled equipment in a timely manner according to manufacture recommendations.

- Fabricate, overhaul, and install parts on fixed equipment installations, within a time frame to be outlined by the Mechanical Supervisor.

- Keep work areas and equipment clean free of safety hazards on a continuous basis and conduct routine inspections of the workplace.

- Perform preventative maintenance.

- Repair equipment within planned time frames.

- Conduct equipment inspections in response to operations concerns or as outlined by a maintenance schedule.

- Perform repairs in a cost effective, safe, and environmentally friendly manner to maximize equipment availability.

- Communicate reports on maintenance and log repairs.

- All other duties as may be assigned.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

- High School Diploma.

- Post-secondary education as a Millwright.

- Ability to set priorities and work with minimum supervision.

- Accurate with measurements and take offs.

- Experience with a CMMS such as SAP or JDEdwards.

- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

- Schedule: 7/7 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.
